View Full Version : Cesc To Barcelona

Cesc has said he will go if Barcelona make an offer. So bye bye.
I knew he would go. Massive increase in pay and back to the club he has always supported.
Actually it just says that they have made a formal offer and Cesc has said that he wants to go and wants Arsenal to accept. I am sorry but the offer has to be of a serious amount. I can make an offer for Cesc for £1 and a packet of crisps to play for The Waterman Arms Sunday team.
Arsenal need to seriously start looking for experienced players now.

Arsenal reject the offer. Bet Cesc is not very happy!
He is worth much more to Arsenal than he is to Barcelona. They will be haggling for a while but eventually he will go. Although I reckon he will probably end up just like Flamini and Hleb who are now pretty much shit.
Cesc is surplus to requirements at Barcelona. At Arsenal he is a king and Barca he is a bench warmer.

He is not going anywhere.
Arsenal Football Club have today released the following statement about Cesc Fabregas (http://www.arsenal.com/first-team/players/cesc-fabregas):
"Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas (http://www.arsenal.com/first-team/players/cesc-fabregas) is under contract with the Club until the summer of 2015. He is a highly-valued member of the team and part of our future plans.
"We have followed recent speculation linking Cesc with a move away from the Club but as there has never been any official approach for him, only two informal exchanges, in which we made it abundantly clear that we have no interest in transferring Cesc, we have refrained from publicly passing comment. However, yesterday evening we received an offer from Barcelona for Cesc and in response, we immediately and resolutely told them once again that we have no intention of selling our captain.
"To be clear, we will not make any kind of counterproposal or enter into any discussion. Barcelona have publicly stated that they will respect our position and we expect that they will keep their word."
