Manchester City are reportedly ready to offer midfielder Stephen Ireland in any potential deal to land Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.

Steven Gerrard refused to go to Chelsea although now with Liverpool being slightly unstable if Torres goes I can see Gerrard buggering off as well.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly ready to swoop for highly rated Serbian international Neven Subotic this summer. The Borussia Dortmund player who came on as a substitute in Sunday's World Cup defeat to Ghana, has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

He looks more like an Arsenal player, his physical build and speed.
