Default Arsenal V Birmingham

Personally I reckon an Arsenal win. On the last 8 times the two teams have met Birmingham have been unable to secure a win. However with Arsenal no having a first class goalie I reckon this maybe different if it goes to penalties.

Birmingham are quite a hard bastard team and I dont think they will be allowing Arsenal to play a fast passing game.

I think Arsenal will do it with the cheeky Russian and RVP doing the damage.

"Birmingham City's last major piece of silverware came in this competition under its guise of the League Cup in 1963 - but Alex McLeish is hoping his team can put that right at rain-sodden Wembley. Arsenal have a trophy drought of their own to end, stretching back to only 2005 admittedly, but manager Arsene Wenger is now keen to claim a prize he has scorned in the past to mark the next step forward in the Gunners' development. McLeish knows Birmingham are massive underdogs, but their chances have been improved by the absence of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Theo Walcott."
The last Carling Cup Final Arsenal were in they played the B team. The B team were also the team that got Arsenal to the final. I am pleased Wenger did play the B team who ultimately lost to Chelsea as they were the ones that did the hard work to get them there in the first place.

YEah I am still glad they did that. OK Arsenal lost but imagine the resentments that the players who did the hard work would have had if they hadnt played in the final.

Good line up Arsenal have some striking firepower on the bench in case a last minute goal is required.
